Design concept
Project Overview
A coffee bar designed as a quiet urban retreat for young city dwellers seeking a moment of pause within the rhythm of everyday life. The concept draws inspiration from the idea of a cave—a place of comfort, protection, and refuge—translated into a contemporary hospitality setting. Soft lighting, rounded forms, and tactile surfaces create a calm and welcoming atmosphere, while a restrained palette of warm neutrals is complemented by subtle pink accents. The design combines modern minimalism with a delicate layer of texture, adding warmth, character, and a sense of informality to the space.

The Challenge
A small space (62sq.m) has to fit 20 seats, an open bar, and easy access for pickup and takeout.
Design Approach
The bar serves as the central element of the interior, shaping circulation, interaction, and the overall experience of the café. Positioned as the visual and functional heart of the space, it naturally guides movement and creates a clear point of orientation from every seat. The open layout encourages social interaction while maintaining a sense of comfort and intimacy, allowing visitors to choose between quick visits, casual meetings, or longer stays.
